The Algiers Clean Team is a committee of the AEDF and ACF which focuses on a "cleaner Algiers". Led by Ron Loesel, this team is made up of committed volunteers who have a passion for keeping our community safer and cleaner.

In the past we have sponsored once-a-year clean up efforts but since Katrina the team meets monthly and has a Clean event the first Saturday of each month. The location for the clean up is always on the website and email notices are sent. If you would like to be on the email list simply email us here at aedf.

Garbage Pickup and Drop Off:

Waste Management is now picking up household garbage in Algiers on Mondays.  Residents are asked to limit their garbage to no more than two 32 gallon trash containers or 6 trash bags.

Residents may also drop off the following items at the Hendee Court Waste Drop Off Center, 2301 Hendee Court . The center is open 7 days a week from 7:00am - 5:00pm.

C&D	Storm Debris, Construction Materials
E - Waste	TV's, stereos, Computers, Radios, etc.
Garbage	Kitchen and Household Trash (Bagged)
White Goods	Refrigerators, Microwaves, Freezers, A/C's, Stoves, W/D's
Household Chemicals	Paint, Thinners, Cleaning Supplies
Yard Waste	Vegetation, Tree Limbs, Grass Clippings
Gas Powered Equipment	Lawn Mowers, Weedeaters
Tires	Tires only, NO RIMS
